Program Description:

Located on 309 acres along the Chesapeake Bay in Eastern Maryland, the camp is less than two hours from Philadelphia and Washington, DC. A traditional camp with land and aquatic activities, it also offers various equestrian programs and two intensive aquatic programs in which the campers are housed in a modern bayside lodge and sail, race, water-ski, wakeboard and swim all day.

Sailing and Racing SPECIALTY (Grades 7-10):
This is the perfect program for campers who want to develop sailing skills rapidly. Staff includes collegiate and international sailors who compete in sailing regattas regularly throughout the year. Instruction is a mixture of “chalk talks,” hands-on drills, and one-on-one lessons, plus fun on the water games. Each session contains a fairly even mix of beginner, intermediate, and advanced sailors. Having a small group (no more than 22 campers) helps the instructors zero in on individual goals. Campers in this program stay in their own modern lodge.

Water skiing & Wakeboarding SPECIALTY (Grades 7-10):
Using top of the line equipment and boats, an individual curriculum is developed for each camper. After the first two days of programming, instructors focus on individual goals and build a lesson plan for each camper. The maximum group size of 15 creates a level of interaction between the instructors and campers that is invaluable. Campers take a short trip by boat every day to a protected body of water with excellent conditions. Only our campers have this wonderful privilege as it’s not open to the public, and learning on the serene, glassy waters makes it that much easier for campers to rapidly develop skills. Campers in this program stay in their own modern lodge.
