Program Description:

Boston is one of the most emblematic cities in the US.  It has a truly international feeling and is one of the most important cultural and academic centers of the country.  Boston offers all the advantages of an urban environment and at the same time has the charm of a small city. The Boston program is designed for students between 15 and 18 years old who are looking for an academic program to improve their level of English in a comfortable and safe urban environment, filled with cultural, social and athletic activities.

This program offers students the possibility to choose between ESL instruction or immersion clinics with American students. ESL classes are Monday to Friday and they are structured by levels with a maximum of 15 students per group.  Immersion clinics range from studio art classes to sports classes like basketball or performing arts classes.

Besides the classes, there are social and cultural activities each day of the week (scavenger hunt, pottery, painting, roller skating, bowling, billiards, outdoor parties, shopping, concerts, etc.).  Students are free on the weekends to go on local excursions (Museum of Science, local beaches, Hard Rock Café, Providence, etc.).  As an option, students may participate in trips outside of Boston, such as New York City, Cape Cod, etc.

Students reside at the same university campus where classes are held.  Students reside in comfortable apartments that hold 2, 3 and 4 students of the same gender (boys and girls reside in apartments separated on the same floor of the residence). All apartments have their own kitchen, eating area, bath and are completely furnished.  The residence has high speed internet access at no charge, voicemail service, living room for students with a TV and common areas for students to socialize with their American peers as well as other international students from all over the world.   There is continued supervision of students by trained staff. Every room and common area has air conditioning and 24 hour security (24 hour guard on duty, and a security card is needed to enter the building).
